Dear Friends all over the World:

We are the Heinz Family from Immenstaad in Germany at Lake Constance. We, that`s Ulrike, Bernhard (Bernie), Daniel and Isabel, Miriam and Martin and Christian. In our Internet pages we would like to introduce ourselves and show events from our area and even world wide with a lot of pictures but very little text.

Technical Information about my Internet-Site:

Often I get questions (also by Email) on the tools I am using - therefore here is some info:

Computer: In June 2005 I finally replaced my old Mac (still working !!!, G3) by a G5 dual processor with OS Tiger. But as all of you are poor Windows users you don´t have a clue anyway what this means, so I am just going to show you a photo of my new "racing machine":
(This is the only commercial on my pages, but it´s justified)
Software:
Browsing: Mozillas Firefox (I especially like the "tabbed browsing" and speed), that´s even better than Apples "Safari". Email: Mozillas Thunderbird, that allowed me to be downward compatible. I still have access to all emails I ever got and sent - interesting to see 10 year old mails. By the way: How many Windows users are able to do this?
Homepage production: Still Netscape Composer 7.02, those idiots forgot that function in Firefox.
Imaging etc: Grafikkonverter 5.4 for Imaging, ColorIt 3.0 for Scanning, iMovie 5 for Videoimaging
Videocamera Panasonic NV-DS65EG (Connected via Firewire). Digital Still Camera Sony DSC V1 ( I gave away the stupid Rollei d330 for free, it´s not even worth the stamp on an email).
Lots of other peripherals, the most interesting is probably the "Terratec Cameo Convert" which allows me to convert old analogue videos to ditital, works great.
Motto of the day: Don´t accept presents from Bill Gates. Let him keep his rubbish (Explorer and that Windows Crap)
