This is the so called Christmas Letter of the 21st Century: No snail mail, no email attachments, just internet !
Here is the annual retrospect of 2004 from the "Family Bernie Heinz" point of view.
Weather of the skiing season 2003/2004 has often not been fun, as you
can see at this picture. Nevertheless we enjoyed it as usual. Especially
for our skiing fans there is now a special skiing internet page since
November 2004 (above menu "SKI" or --> klick ). Under the menu "Ski" there are not only recent pictures, but also
pictures of the season 2003/2004.
June 2004: Vacation in Italy. Here we met with Helga and Hans-Jörg at the " Bagno". They came straight from Rome, but arrived without purses and documents of identification. This almost also happened to me in Rome on one of my Rome trips.

An evening in the city of Milano Marittima with Caipirinha and red wine
- not bad, isn´t it. On the way back home we visited Como at
the lake, real nice.
Remark: Not only during skiing there have been weather problems.
Also our Italy vacation 2004 in June was spoiled by lousy weather.
I have been a good customer of various airlines also in the year 2004 doing lots of business trips , you can see here a picture from one of my Oman trips during a travel along the coast close to Muscat. Under the menu "Reisen/Travel" (or here --> click) you can find further pictures of my journeys.

End of July 2004: Family visit at Lake Constance by our parents from the "Westerwald".

August 2004: Only a one day trip distance from "Westerwald": Tongeren in Belgium. We lived here from 1980 through 1985 and reallly enjoyed our stay there. I guess many of my American friends who were with me during those times still remember this great place.
In the city park "De Motten" of Tongeren: This is the place where our kids grew up. Miriam had many good memories.
August 2004: Great time during the Immenstaad Wine Festival
Air Show "AIR04" at Payerne (Switzerland) in September, you see the "Frecce Tricolori" spreading the colors of the Italian Flag.

September 2004: Isn´t that a nice contrast to the pictures of the
Air Show: Mountain Tour in Austria with Christian and Jürgen.
I would like to show you some more photos of that trip so you can imagine how nice the area is we are living in.
